Billy's Bakery

Went to check out Billy's Bakery last night...

The inside is very cheery, a sort of country garden-ish wallpaper and bright yellow walls. On the mantle were jars of filled with different colored sprinkles, so cute! There are three white tables to sit on and eat your cupcake, and it wasn't that crowded. There were also flowers galore inside-- a very nice touch. I sat at a table with a gerber daisy in a jar with a mesh cover.. cool idea.

Unlike Magnolia, the cupcakes are in a white glass case, and you have to ask the clerk to pick out the cupcakes you want. Not as fun, I say! Each cupcake was $1.50, and I bought a chocolate covered yellow one and a white colored yellow one.

They do serve the cupcakes on a plate, so you can sit down and enjoy.. Overall, I think the cupcakes at Magolia are a little better-- I think since Magnolia's are sweeter? I can't put my finger on it.

But, since Billy's is just around the corner from my boyfriend's studio, I think I'll be back pretty often.

Yay, cupcakes in Chelsea!
